Centre for Education Policy

In this era of globalization and internet, the rapid development of information technology, social network and civil society have raised the society’s expectations towards education. This enhances the challenges to school management capabilities, and schools need to respond with higher effectiveness and efficiency. Many scholars have suggested to school educators that it is essential to respond to the many changes and expectations of society, so that schools can survive and sustainably develop in a changing environment.

The Centre for Education Policy is composed of a group of experienced educators and former education officials. It aims at contributing to the continuous professional development in local schools and advancing the quality and further development of education in Hong Kong, mainly in three areas:

1) education policy research;
2) education consultancy services; and
3) training programs particularly in the areas of school leadership and management.
